Summary
Tommy is a spirit empath. Wilbur has ghost vision. Philza creates barriers to trap ghosts. Technoblade travels to the spirit world to fight the dead. Their powers, however, come with repercussions.
They assume their newest job is another normal investigation. But, the past holds dark secrets and for the first time, they’re not just dealing with spirits, but with a demon. Expelling the demon quickly turns from a job to a matter of life and death. And they don’t know if they can win this fight.

“Not hard enough, obviously.”
That, for Tommy, was the final blow. Because Wilbur could say anything to him, call him any mean word or insult him every way he knew how, but when he had been trying this hard just for him and it still wasn’t good enough, that felt like his heart had been shattered and put on display just to laugh at.
“Fuck you!” Tommy screamed, stepping forwards to get closer to the man–not his brother. He couldn’t recognize Wilbur as his brother right now, and he wasn’t sure he had been able to at all lately. “I hate you! You’re just like mom, and I hate you!”
Now Wilbur took a step back, face paling and staring across in shock.
Or; Wilbur made a promise the day Tommy was born: he would always protect his little brother. Even when they're running away from home, when he's forcing Tommy to go to tutoring, and when they scream words that can't be taken back, he would protect his little brother.

Before he can get far, however, Wilbur grabs his wrist. His heart stops, and like second nature, Tommy turns around to twist away from Wilbur’s grip.
Wilbur stills. Too late does Tommy realize his mistake.
“Tommy, what the fuck happened to your face?”
He pales as realization spreads across Phil and Techno’s expressions as well.
“Tommy,” Wilbur moves his hand from Tommy’s wrist to gently touch his face instead. “Who did this to you?”
