Grace Joan Swan. Quite the opposite yet so similar to her older sister. She was on the more introverted side, she was at peace that she didn't have friends, she liked a drama-less life. She wasn't "fragile", she hated being referred to as a "sick child". She's what her mother calls a "miracle child", having been dead for 10 minutes once birthed. This of course led to health complications growing up that she got used to and thankfully (for her sanity) got better.
Her being a "sick" child growing up means that she was damn near coddled her whole life. She was grateful, but fuck. Even a "sick" kid grows tired of being restricted from normal activities. So when she was given the option to either stay with her mother and her husband in the heat that was Phoenix Arizona, or move with her sister into their dad's house in Forks in Washington, she sure as hell packed her bags, she really missed her dad. Moving to Forks was met with cold and wet weather, a childhood acquaintance who has a bit of an obsession with her older sister, a new school with a strange family of adopted siblings, and a coffee-eyed boy with a short temper just as short as her social skills.
