In the past, Niko Saito had a budget problem. Ten years later, well, her problem was a bit bigger.
She was a sports reporter covering Tokyo 2020 Olympics in a life-time opportunity... but that doesn't sound like a problem, right?
Well, let me add a few ingredients to it:
1. The reunion after almost 10 years with her ex, Tooru Oikawa, that became a volleyball superstar of Argentina's National Team
2. Their reunion turning into a trending topic over night thanks to the internet (and a clumsy red-haired we love)
3. The fact that the world began to ship them and root for a happy ending
4. The fake dating they started because of said rumor
5. The chaotic energy of the volleyball dorks we know and love from Japan's National Team
6. Oh, and of course: the feelings that were never overcome by neither of the main couple, which are coming back with full force (oh, really?)Let the (Olympic) Games begin!

Summary

Now, two years later, he’s dragged back into Tokyo’s unsavory underworld. A grisly string of murders is plaguing the city, and the culprits are most definitely Yakuza. The problem is discovering which Syndicate is responsible, and Iwaizumi – the leading expert on Yakuza affairs – is the man most suited for the job.
Despite his determination to stay away from Tokyo – and from Oikawa – Iwaizumi finds himself right back in the middle of Seijoh, and it feels a lot more like home than he’d care to admit.

In truth, you never really quite understood what that meant, but then you suppose you weren’t meant to. Politics wasn’t on your curriculum, traded out with sewing and painting and other useless commodities.
But still, you’d heard about the unrest to the south, the rumors of dissent and the anti-capitol posters. You’d wondered, at the time, if that was what people meant. If you could trace back to the first protest, the first whisper of treason, would you be able to pinpoint the exact moment a war became an inevitability?
The capitol gates come crashing down with an explosion of gunpowder and debris.
