Elsa smiles as arms curve around her waist from behind, cold palms coming to rest on her stomach. “Quite. And what did you do today, Jack?”
“Me?” Cool breath breezes past her left ear, the curve of a cheekbone nudges against hers, tipping her head to the side. “The usual; ice, wind, snow, terrorizing Olaf—that never gets old—a really great nap and…” Jack kisses her cheek, her jaw, the corner of her mouth. “Stuff. Things. Enough about me. I want to hear about you.”
Elsa doesn’t comment on the ambiguity of his answer. It’s something she’s noticed recently, a little chip in the titanesque iceberg that is her and Jack’s love.
But only that.

Jinbei frowns, his Observation Haki spreading like ink in water. “Is it truly so large?”
“Miles of detritus, my friend! I could spy mountainous jungles to the south of us, but otherwise, there is only-” Brook’s foot goes straight through an old wagon he attempts to use as his final step to the ground, and the skeleton’s arms spin in circles for a moment before he topples forward. Thankfully Jinbei moves quickly enough to catch his crewmate, and Brook makes a beleaguered noise once both his feet are again upon solid ground. “-ah, trash.”

Fuck, Rodrick thought. The script for this situation simply didn't exist.
I mean, he just couldn't offer a sympathetic pat on the shoulder because they weren't friends. God, not even close to that. Although he felt like he could not just walk away and pretend that interaction never happened, that would be rude even for his standards.
He was stuck in a silent room with a crying, crazy beautiful popular girl who clearly wished he would spontaneously combust.
