Ichigo was an assassin in his past life. Drama. Killings. Skills. The works.

He did not expect La Spirit King to appear, gave him a free ticket to a new life, and shoved him in the body of Kurosaki Ichigo.

He might as well enjoy the ride-hey, assasin life sucks balls.

    ...

Those Shinigamis, Arrancars, and Quincies are way too invested in him for comfort...

    Summary

The dog's breath was hot and wet against his cheek, rotting and blood soaked teeth only inches from his face and neck--maybe this was it, his end. Maybe the dog would swallow him whole, maybe his death would be quick. He doubted it.

Leon's struggles were waning, forearms pushing desperately at the animal's head and body, when a shot rang out. And then two more, and another for good measure.

As the body hit the concrete with a wet thud, Leon looked up at the origin of the gunshots. There stood a man--a person! Alive! Not rotting from the inside out!--warily pointing a gun at the unmoving dog carcass. The man seemed familliar somehow, though Leon was sure he'd never met him before. Dirty blond bangs hung in front of his eyes, and the leather jacket he was wearing looked about five seconds from entirely falling apart, but he was an actual Person, and Leon would happily take that.

Their eyes met, and the first thing that came out of the Stranger's mouth was:

"Nope", as he promptly turned and walked back to where he came from.

    -

or: Leon is very done with all of this and wants to go home, now, please.

"W-where am I?" she asks, more than half-afraid to hear the answer.

"Raccoon City Police Department," he says. "I'm Leon Kennedy."

Grace's mouth falls open. She stares. And stares, and keeps staring.

That's why he looked familiar. Because that's Leon's face, minus maybe thirty years. He looks like he's her age.

    What the fuck?

    Summary

After a lifetime of fighting bioterrorism and surviving the Requiem incident, DSO Agent Leon S. Kennedy closes his eyes, expecting his usual nightmare: Racoon City, September 29, 1998. The night he marched into a living nightmare. The night he failed to make a difference.

But when the blood on his boots is warm, and the gun smoke burns his throat, the merciful detachment of the dream shatters. This is no memory. Leon is twenty-one again, trapped in his unconditioned rookie body, but armed with the lethal muscle memory, the deep scars, and the crushing survivor's guilt of a veteran operator.

Raccoon City is falling all over again. But this time, Leon isn't a terrified rookie just trying to survive the night. He's a man on a desperate mission to rewrite history, and God help any B.O.W. that gets in his way.

This time, it has to be different.
