Summary
You'd known the Winchesters for years. You'd been dragged through their insane world of angels and demons and Apocalypse. You'd met, fallen in love with, and subsequently lost to the war a particular archangel with a large sweet tooth and a tricky disposition. That was ten years ago. You'd done your best to move on. What did your past have to do with the now?

Summary
There’s a man crouched on the living room floor with his head in Steve’s lap, Steve’s hand carding through his dark hair. There is a split second where he thinks he’s walked in on Steve receiving a blow job. He flushes, a flare of heat rolling over him like a flash-fire. Then the double whammy when he spots the metal arm and realizes it’s Bucky.

Summary
“Anyway, as fun as it’s been crying like a baby twice a week, I cancelled the rest of my sessions after the next one. I don’t have insurance and I’m basically over the hump, I think.”
“You’re.” Lawrence looks around desperately as if the furniture might agree with him. “It’s been two months, Adam. You’re not ‘over the hump’ in two months.”
Adam and Lawrence both lived. Here's how they get their shit together afterwards.

Summary
The party is air conditioned enough that it isn’t sweltering even with the crowd of “youth”—and yeah, some of these partygoers are definitely kids—and they have actual Coke, not just unspiked punch, so it’s not as bad as it could be, Chad figures.
And then he steps further inside, and it gets a whole lot worse. Because there is Ryan Evans, corded mic in hand, rocking the rickety platform like it’s a Broadway stage. He’s all glitter and confidence and perfect pitch, which should be horrifying but somehow isn’t, and he looks impossibly happy even on the stained carpet of a makeshift stage, performing for a disinterested crowd.
Well. Mostly disinterested.
***
At a New Year’s Eve party halfway across the country, Chad sees an old classmate in a new light. Little does he know, that’s not the last time his world will be turned upside down this semester.
