He couldn’t help the way his blood boiled whenever the thought even crossed his mind, how the water almost looked a bit red the longer he stared at it. He shook his head. It was probably just the lighting.
“I’m all for it if you need some help with the ideas or a teammate… y’know… kinda pickin’ up on what you’re puttin’ down…” Pearl said, a smirk tugging at her lips as she elbowed him playfully. “I’m there, y’know?”
Impulse looked up at her, and the sparkle in his eyes was almost comical. A squinty smile quickly made its way onto his face. “Yeah, yeah, yeah?”
