    Post KH3 fic with the Sea Salt crew, but focused mostly Isa/Saïx and Xion.

    Isa snuck a kiss on Lea’s cheek. “I was going to do a final sweep of the old castle tonight. Making sure no one left anything behind.”

    Lea groaned. “That old dump? There’s nothing else left Even didn’t already get.”

    “I was informing you, not ordering you,” pointed out Isa. “I’m fine going over alone.”

    “I’ll go.”

    Xion spoke before she even had time to think about it. All three of them turned to her. She held her ice cream stick in both hands. “I’d like to leave it on my own terms. I think.”

    As she said the words, it occurred to her that they might be true. She mostly wanted a chance to talk to Isa alone. It was as if he was like an algebra problem from one of her new textbooks and she had to isolate him to figure him out. Was he going to be more truly himself without Lea and Roxas around?

    If people did influence each other in such a way, that chain of thoughts made it sound more like he was the one influencing her.

    The wound healed easily, but potions don't work on denim. Isa is staring at the slash, the edges of it darkened from the blood he'd lost. He looks upset, a pout growing on his face.

    "Hey, I'm alright." He leans forward a bit and pokes Isa in the chest. "I had a whole lot of potions on me. And I know how to cast Cure now, too."

    Isa only frowns deeper. "You're overdoing it lately."
