“I don’t like hospitals,” Adrian whined.
Something snapped in Chris. How could Adrian act like everything was fine? He hasn’t uttered one word about what he did. “Well, you’ll end up in one if you shoot yourself in the head, Vig!” Chris shouted before he could stop himself.
Adrian flinched, guilt flashing across his face as his shoulders curled inward.
Or; After ARGUS arrests peacemaker again, Adrian is struggling to cope with him leaving and the fact that he technically killed Chris' dad.

Summary
Picks up right after the final episode of season 2. Checkmate is finally up and running but Chris is now a prisoner in Salvation. With Peacemaker nowhere to be found, the 11th Street Kids and new recruits immediately know something’s up. Simultaneously, Rick Flag Sr. isn’t done with his metahuman detainment and looks for a new cohort of prisoners to throw in Salvation. It just so happens that the guy always hanging around Peacemaker fits the criteria.
In other words, Chris is haunted by his own mind, Adrian suffers quite a bit and it's all Flag's fault, and the 11th Street Kids will always protect each other. The title is a song from the Hellacopters.
