Summary
Thomas let his hands roam up and down his own body, feeling where the fabric pulled tight against him, squeezing and pinching at the parts of himself that had taken on weight. Experimentally, he placed his hands at the sides of his belly, swathed in the tight fabric, and shook it lightly. He bounced on his toes and his body jiggled with the movement. Christ, he’d gotten big.

Summary
He catches himself staring at Klinger’s legs, long and slender but still undeniably masculine, under his floral skirt. Charles knows what this means, and the usual sense of dread is accompanied by an unfamiliar bubble of amusement. Klinger? Really? He couldn’t have fallen head over heels for someone a little more academic?

Summary
He knew it was weird, but he had gotten over his panic about liking weird shit long before he entered a relationship with the alien sharing his body. And if he could wrap his head around that, he could admit to his alien partner that he got hot under the collar from gaining a little weight for them.

Summary
James bit into a laden slice of toast with the undamaged side of his mouth. “I thought we agreed that thinking was very dangerous,” he said, and though his voice was light Francis could feel a weight behind it. It was a weight made up of sleepless nights and crying jags; of Francis punching a solid wall and of James shouting himself hoarse; of the unbearable social calls and wrenching letters and pitying looks which they could not avoid. They carried a great many heavy things with them, now.
London, 1848: Francis and James try to put themselves back together.

Summary
Jopson keeps the gloves on when they do it.
It’s convenient for him, and it only sharpens the fact that they never really touch—skin to skin. Henry doesn’t mind. He loves the gloves, that thin barrier between them, as if the white fabric could save them from getting too close. The thought makes him scoff, quietly.
“Something funny?” Jopson asks. He looks angry, which suits him, of course. Henry wishes he’d hide it better, but then again, Jopson’s the only one honest enough to be angry with him—and that’s fair. That’s why Henry is here, on his knees, on the worn floor of the kitchen in the small apartment the ex-steward rents. Jopson may no longer serve his captain, but Henry knows the service isn’t over. It never was.

Summary
James Fitzjames is vaguely lonely, and yearns for something more personal than the hairless actors he sees on most porn videos.
That's why it's such a pleasant shock to see a charming older man, very well-endowed, who moans his name and has an earnestness about him that rocks James to the core.
In the videos, of course, the James that Francis is speaking to isn't him, but he can still pretend, can't he?

Summary
Francis blinked a few more times, and the James in the mirror blinked back. His mind began shouting something at him, but Francis was still too befuddled from sleep to heed its cries. He lifted a hand to his cheek. The image in the mirror did the same.
Francis pinched himself on the cheek, hoping to wake up from this very, very strange dream. In the mirror, James’ large hand pinched his cheek.
Francis screamed. They say that to really know a man, you should walk a mile in his shoes.
