Summary
Penelope was so bored. She had been wandering the house all morning, trying various activities to scratch the itch at the back of her mind, but nothing had felt right. She was restless and irritated, her feet beginning to get sore from all her pacing. She wasn’t used to being alone, yet her parents thought she was mature enough to stay home while they went on a business trip.
Well, technically she wasn’t alone. Penny’s parents had left her with the glorified babysitter that was her bodyguard.

Chuuya froze in place. He could feel Dazai's eyes on him, burning a hole in his back with every second he stood there like a deer in headlights. He cursed quietly under his breath, before turning to face the man he spent most of his childhood with.
"Dazai? This is so weird, I didn't know you were ba-"
Before Chuuya could finish, Dazai reminded him of the second reason he had never considered him as an actual romantic prospect.
"Damn, you really never grew, huh? Still just a chibi."
The man was annoying as hell.

Summary
Dazai, an Omega, forces Akutagawa, his Alpha subordinate, to spend his first rut with him so it ends quicker. Things go wrong and Akutagawa claims Dazai while he is in a feral state from his rut. Dazai, with the help of Mori, hides the fact that he was claimed by Akutagawa from everyone-- including the Alpha.
Five years pass. Dazai is with the Armed Detective Agency, while Akutagawa is still with the Port Mafia. Dazai's health is worsening due to hiding the fact he has been claimed by Akutagawa, so he finally confesses to the Alpha that they are mates.
The two must figure out how to live as mates while working through the pain and bloodshed from their violent past, and slowly grow to realize it is not so difficult for the Alpha and Omega to have a peaceful relationship.
