Summary
Set after The Awakened
After returning from Scotland, Sherlock can't quite shake the nightmares imbedded in his psyche. He hasn't exactly had the best emotional upbringing to deal with burdens of the mind. He copes the only way he can think of: by ingesting a plethora of mind altering substances in the hopes one of them might numb his brain to the terrors he's been through.
The nightmares might have mellowed, but now the childhood trauma with a familiar face is staring at him and smiling. And judging his decisions that led up to this. The loss of a loved one has never looked so handsome.

He supposed he could leave it at that. Jon was already making his way toward him.
