“Why are you doing this?” Her breath shakes, but her voice is steady.
I twist my fingers in her hair, wrenching her curls from their pins, and press her face against the wood. “Because you’re nothing. Because fucking him won’t make you mistress of this house. Because I can, and he won’t stop me.”Bookmarked by splix

Summary
Sherlock is back and all seems forgiven, but something is missing between him and John. Their friendship initially appears intact, but Sherlock doesn't understand why John seems to be slipping away. Finally, in terror, he tries to reconnect with John by taking him to the one place that seems to inspire any emotional interest in John any more: the Canadian wilderness. While there, Sherlock faces his greatest fear.

Summary
I have often felt a need of having a woman in my confidence, and I should prefer her to another; but I can do nothing so long as she is not—what she needs to be (letter 54, trans. Dowson).
The marquise’s growing impatience with Valmont and Danceny in the matter of the little Volanges inflames her own awareness of Cécile's charms.

Abditory (n). A safe repository for valuables; a hiding place (literal and figurative).
Or, five times Sherlock hid and one time he was found.

A stunning character study of Eurus and Mycroft. My description is inadequate to the telling.

Summary
John was no stranger to PTSD induced hallucinations, but the scene illuminated by Sherlock’s bedside lamp was more terrible than anything he’d seen in the grip of a night terror. Glistening gray and purple tendrils bound Sherlock’s wrists to the headboard. Another was forcing itself down the length of Sherlock’s arched throat and was probably what had stifled his scream. John’s gun was drawn before he’d even had a chance to think.

Summary
Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Series 3 timeline is up, and is my attempt to pull together, from John's blog posts, the episodes and a good deal of guess work, just when everything is supposed to have happened. I have already amended it thanks to comments I've received and I will continue to add to it and amend it as new things come to light from rewatching and other people's fabulous insights.
I was intending to add TAB and Series 4 to this but there is so little obvious evidence that it would a lot of work and end up mostly be my guesses rather than anything more concrete anyway. Since I was left both unimpressed and uninspired by Series 4 I have decided not to spend my time on it. If anyone else wants to use this as a jumping off point for their own Series 4 timeline, please be my guest!
