Cheng Xiaoshi tries his best to give Lu Guang his most charming, most confident, most encouraging grin as he takes one of Lu Guang’s hands in his, gently prying it away from the railing. He feels Lu Guang’s hand trembling in his. He isn’t sure whether Lu Guang is truly that nervous or if he’s just cold; nonetheless, he squeezes it reassuringly. He’s sure Lu Guang can skate—as soon as he jumps out of the nest!
Inspired by their Yuri on Ice watch party, the Time Photo Studio trio tries ice skating for the first time.

Summary
Lu Guang chokes in the flood of his sorrow, his breaths coming out in a shuddering staccato as his lungs refuse to work properly. Cheng Xiaoshi quickly runs his hand through his hair and begins to slowly sway their bodies back and forth in an attempt to soothe him. It only makes him sob harder, raw cries tearing their way out of his throat like wounded beasts that have been trapped for too long.
‘Hey, hey, it’s okay. It’s okay. You don’t need to say anything. I’m here for as long as you need me.’
Would you stay if you knew how long I’ve needed you for?
On a wintry night at the Time Photo Studio, Lu Guang seeks solace in Cheng Xiaoshi’s warmth.
