But before Shen Wenlang's next questions—Who bumped into him? Is that child okay too?—could leave his lips, a small voice from the other side cut in.
"I was the one who bumped into him. I'm sorry." Gao Lele stood awkwardly, rubbing the back of his hand which had reddened from hitting the cold floor first when he fell. His face was flushed, as if afraid of being scolded.
And before Shen Wenlang could respond to the child's apology, another voice was heard—a voice that struck his heart harder than any collision sound.
"Lele! Dou Dou!" The man immediately knelt, his hands raised to steady one of the fallen children. "Uncle Tutu, I'm okay. It was Lele who bumped into him."
After confirming his own child was the one who had fallen, he gently touched Lele's shoulder. Then he lowered his hands to examine the little fingers that looked reddened from the impact. "Lele? Does anything hurt?"
Shen Wenlang froze.
That voice. The gentle voice he remembered even in his nightmares. The voice he had longed for over six years, the voice that could crumble all his defenses in an instant.

Gao Tu never really thought much about it. To him, Hua Yong was a charming young colleague, in the most professional way: civilized, polite, and efficient. The ideal Omega who made everyone around him disciplined, embarrassed to fall behind.
Gao Tu didn't know, and would never suspect, that the gentle young man who disappeared around the corner of the hallway was someone far more than just a "talented intern."
Gao Tu also didn't know that Hua Yong wouldn't go home after handing the documents to Shen Wenlang. Even after the clock struck eight o'clock, the young man would still be in the office.

Gao Tu paused in his reading and tilted his head. “Sleep over? That’s all you’re wearing. You’re going to sleep in your school uniform? What are you going to wear tomorrow?!”
Shen Wenlang didn’t give up. He crawled over and propped himself up on his elbows to close in on Gao Tu’s side, almost eliminating the distance between them. His nose almost touched Gao Tu’s cheek as he spoke flatly, seriously, and stared straight into his boyfriend’s face. “I can sleep without clothes.”Or, perhaps, Gao Tu was telling Shen Wenlang to do his homework. But on the other hand, Gao Tu couldn’t let Shen Wenlang get away from him.

Clothes were long discarded, Gao Tu was pushed backwards by the youngest of the four.
“Secretary Hua–” he gasped as his back hit Wenlang's bare chest, the alpha didn't wait one second to claim the pathetically throbbing gland for himself. His bite loosened but his eyes were still fixated on the other s-tier alpha in the room whose eyes were inspecting his omega a little bit too much for his taste.
“You like him, baobei?” Huayong smiled softly at his alpha, wrapping his arms around his waist as if he didn't just sprawl the panting omega out on the bed for them.
