Mike’s hand froze, the bottle halfway to his lips. He knew that voice. He’d memorized every inflection, every tone. It was impossible, but he couldn’t forget it. For a moment, he thought he was losing it, finally slipping over the edge of sanity he had been teetering on for weeks.
He turned his head slowly, his heart hammering in his chest and his ears ringing.
There, standing a few feet away from him, was Will. He looked the same as he always had; grown out bowl cut, wide, earnest eyes, and wearing that same damn jacket over flannel combo that Mike had seen him die in.

"What?" His mouth feels dry. His hands are sweating. He can feel a flush creeping up his neck.
