Summary
Guardians are sustained by Belief. The more Belief they have, the more power, the less they strictly need petty mortal things like food and rest. Jack, lacking the solid Belief bases of the rest of them, has to sleep regularly. Inconvenient, for a seasonal spirit used to going months at a time without rest, but the fastest way to regain the memories from his baby teeth is by dreaming through them, so that's alright.
Until, of course, it isn't.

Summary
When strange pulses of fear ripple through the winter winds, the Guardians turn to Jack to trace their source. But what begins as simple reconnaissance twists into something darker when Pitch returns—not to destroy Jack, but to claim him. Through whispers and nightmares, Pitch plants a seed of doubt: that the Guardians don’t truly want Jack, that they only keep him around because he’s useful.
As illusions blur with reality and Jack’s laughter freezes into silence, the Guardians must fight not only Pitch’s schemes but Jack’s growing belief that he doesn’t belong at their side. And if they can’t reach him in time, Pitch will have his perfect weapon: a Guardian remade in shadow.

Summary
Whilst playing with Jamie one day, Jack is attacked by a winter spirit. A fight which may not leave him as unscathed as he appears. To make matters worse, there are warnings of Pitch returning. Battling to keep past and injury hidden from the Guardians, Jack is forced to face memories he wish would remain forgotten. But time may be running off for the young Guardian of Fun.
