Charles watched as Logan resolutely closed the door of what was now his and Hank’s hotel room, leaving the rest out in the hall. Hank glanced at Charles and Erik, and picked up the handle of his suitcase with a shrug. Charles gave him a look that was both sharp and pleading.
“What do you want me to do, move him?” Hank said.
Charles said nothing, realizing that there really was no way around this. Hank quietly closed the door.

A deer, a fox, a boar. That’s what Dane was expecting to see as he patrolled the woods that lie proximal to their camp that night.
What he wasn’t expecting to see Finn Lunare caught in a net up a tree.
Finn gets caught in a trap during a solo midnight reconnaissance. Dane finds him.
