“Quite possibly the most beautiful angel I’ve ever seen, giving Heaven a run for its money.” Evan’s eyes shifted from the tail back to the man’s face, noting the smirk that played on his lips. He was a little shorter than Evan but only by a couple of inches though he looked much smaller because his frame seemed to lack any muscle that it did not need to hold itself up. In the cold, he wasn’t wearing a jacket or even a shirt with sleeves, but that didn’t seem to bother him, hands shoved in his pockets casually as he watched Evan’s gaze move over him.
“I suppose you’re an expert on angels?” Evan asked, their eyes meeting in a gripping gaze that he couldn’t bring himself to break.
“I’ve met my fair share, got nothing on you though.”

Summary
Now there’s a wary Padfoot as well. He stops close by but not too near, head and tail lowered, eyes asking but filled with such uncertainty. Like a remorseful puppy who knows he’s been bad, but isn’t quite certain how. As if Sirius’s carefully guarded anxiety and fears have finally dug so deep even the usually so carefree dog can no longer shake them off.
Sirius turns into Padfoot when in need of comfort. Remus wants to be there for him.

Summary
“James, I assure you, I never wanted this to happen. I never intended to betray anyone. Sirius insisted, words rushing out in a desperate attempt to make himself understood. But James shook his head, his expression closed.
“You have crossed the line, Sirius. You know how serious it is. Remus... How could you do this to him?” There was a mixture of disappointment and anger in his voice, making the words even more painful for Sirius. He felt his heart tighten. He knew he had committed an unforgivable mistake, but he had hoped that James, at least, would be able to hear his side of the story.
“James, I…”
