The Desmond family's youngest scion, Damian, considered himself logical and rational. However, he told himself that believing one of his friends was a telepath was irrational. Still, all the small things she did that he noticed throughout the years, which others would brush off as typical 'Anya behaviour', left him feeling credulous enough to believe such nonsense.
Damian has one last chance to confess his feelings to Anya. So what better way to prove his theory by than telepathically pouring his heart out to the woman he loves?

Anya and Damian are 16 now and have begun dating. Though they are together now, Anya still needs to figure out how to deal with her web of secrets that they and their families are entangled in. However, it seems that may come easier than she thought. Though that may not be necessarily a good thing.

No one took into consideration how the aftermath of Operation Strix would actually affect everyone once it was completed. And no one would certainly predict what Donovan Desmond would do once caught.
So what if Anya achieved her goal of being a great spy like her father? What if her family finally found out each other’s secrets? What exactly happened that day with Donovan Desmond? What if her and Damian stopped talking after the whole ordeal? What exactly would she do if he randomly appeared into her life once more one day?
These seemed to be questions Anya had asked herself many times over, and she found she was getting some of the answers sooner than she had liked.
