    'Safe?!' Izuku thought wildly, his ears flattening again as he stared up at the two pro heroes, who were now watching him with curiosity and concern. 'How am I supposed to be calm when I’m literally in the house of two pro heroes?!'

It's fine, though, it means that now he can't be chased by Eraser-Head! After months of running away from that man, he would never suspect he was a cat! He thought he cheated the system, except that being a cat—a kitten—is harder than being a human. And so he got pretty roughed up when a rock was thrown at him, and many other things piled up the same way snow or trash piles up on the street.
