It's been a week since all of this went down. Wille was blocked by not only Simon, but also Rosh and Aybu. They weren't surprised to be honest. Willes breath of fresh air was gone. Simon was gone. But when we left it started to rain. Rain hard. Pouring down. We were talkin, Erik and me, he looked away from the road for ONE SECOND and it happened we slide, crashing into the guardrail and when the first responders got there they said it was a 1% chance of Erik living. 1% was better than none.
The sirens started blaring into the rainy night to the hospital. When we got there, Erik and I were the only ones who got hurt. Not lacyline or Augy, their 2 yr old. Thankfully.

“You’re quite on time Mr. Eriksson. We’re still waiting for the other parent to arrive,” the headmistress says.
Simon turns his attention to the other kid in the room. She has long golden-brown hair and something about the girl’s eyes are familiar, honey brown, though he’s sure he has never met her before.
There's a knock on the door and a security officer surveys the room before the last person Simon ever expected to see walks in and crouches down beside the other girl, cupping her face and asking if she’s okay
Alba turns around in her chair to look at him. “I’m so sorry Dad. I didn’t mean for this to happen.”
Simon’s eyes are stuck in a vortex of flickering to the man that just walked in and then to the girl he’s comforting and then to his own daughter. He has a very bad feeling about this.
“Ah, Crown Prince Wilhelm, thank you for being here, Sir.” Ms. Perky greets the royal.
Wilhelm gets up and moves to stand behind the girl. Simon’s eyes meet Wille’s and suddenly he doesn’t remember how to breathe.
“This is Alba’s father, Mr. Erik-”

Simon holds up his phone on his notes app. He’s been brainstorming. It reads: Hi, Wilhelm. Sorry to message you but I’m having a situation at school with some bullies that I could use your help with. I get if you don’t want to. Thanks.
“Wow, no emoji. So businesslike.” Rosh is so mean to him.
Simon groans. “It’s really hard! What am I supposed to say? Hey, remember how we had one last night together and we said goodbye and I never gave you a birthday present and then the school closed? Well. Can you pretend the breaking up part didn’t happen to get some assholes off my back?”
“Maybe the difficulty of writing the message should clue you in to the badness of the plan,” Rosh argues.
