Summary
“Atsumu,” Sakusa utters, causing his gaze to snap up.
His pupils are so blown out that Atsumu can't see where they blend with his black iris. His look seems just as frustrated as Atsumu has felt all these last fucking days. The furrow between his brows reveals that he wants Atsumu at least as much and yet he’s still hesitant.
Atsumu frowns and inhales sharply.
“Ya really do want me,” he says. “And ya hate it.”
He changes the angle of his knife, so it’s against Sakusa’s neck. He doesn’t look nearly as alarmed by the cold metal pressed against his skin as Atsumu might expect. Not nearly as alarmed as when Atsumu brings his mouth to Kiyoomi’s.

Nanami didn’t really understand desire. His needs were met, and while he wasn't happy, he was arguably "okay." Every day, he went about his life with wants and needs, but they weren’t severe. He bought his favorite bread and was mildly upset when it wasn’t in stock. He had a water bottle he filled twice a day for proper hydration. Occasionally, he treated himself to a nice black coffee, but it wasn't adequate in a way that ached. So, when Nanami finds himself admiring one of Gojo's paintings, he seeks out more.

Summary
It isn't the easiest thing, being caught in a limbo, navigating a winding path in the dark. But Kiyoomi walks right beside Atsumu, holds his hand through it, and all it took was a conversation.
(Or: Kiyoomi discovers all too belatedly what Atsumu's kept to himself for the entirety of their relationship—all his kinks, all his sexual needs. Out of shame or some sort of uncharacteristic shyness, Kiyoomi isn't sure, but they work their way through it. Together.)
