Summary
Perhaps minutes have gone by while, or maybe it is only a few dozen seconds. The next thing Guy knows, he's been moved. He is seated at a table at the café just across from where he was previously crying.
At the same exact time, he goes impossibly rigid with fear and apprehension. He recalls the whispers of his caretaker (of his second mother) sternly telling him never to follow a stranger.
Is Guy getting...
"You are not," the man says. If I had wanted to, you would be long dead by now, trust me on that.
Or: Guy and Jasper meet long before the 752 and Talamasca.
When Guy is still a child and struggles with his telepathic powers, a school trip to London changes... well, nothing. But still, it's the thought that counts!
...Right?

Summary
Dirtmouth had seen such a decline lately that going outside his house only meant for Elderbug to look at the vast nothingness ahead and think of everything that had slowly disappeared without a trace.
This routine suddenly changed in the most uncommon manner possible.
It happened in a flash, quite literally so.
Or: the story of Hollow Knight, through the eyes of Elderbug.

Summary
Lumière's harbour has always been beautiful, and it is also Gustave's favourite place to think.
Here he is now, with forks, spoons, pens, tools, scraps of papers, some handkerchief, a lone sock that had long lost its pair, one or two broken brushes, screws and bolts, pieces of metals, some empty tubes of creams and liquids, and even more in his bag at his feet.
"I never thought I'd see you, of all people, littering the place. Has the sea done something to upset you?" a voice calls out from behind him.
Gustave bolts around and spots Verso sitting on the edge of the harbour, looking down on Gustave.
Or: following their previous conversation, they continue to talk about things in the wake of Maelle's ending.

Summary
There's a man on top of the newly rebuilt Eiffel Tower.
Lumière has never been this beautiful. Shining with ethereal lights, casting moving shadows that dance alongside the whish and whoosh of clothes while passerbyes continue their routine, unhurried and happy to live. La joie de vivre, indeed.
Gustave sighs and wishes he didn't have to do that, but for his own peace of mind…
For Maelle…
Or: my interpretation of Maelle's ending and specifically how Gustave and Verso would interact, had the engineer known about everything and more.

At first, it had been hilarious to see Nie Mingjue trudging inside the cafe with such furious steps Lan Xichen was surprised the table didn’t shake in tandem with the man’s stomps. It would certainly have looked terrifying if it hadn’t been for the huge man’s hair sparkling as if it had been dipped into glitter, then lacquered into an elaborate high ponytail that majestically swayed left and right with every small movement.
“Nie Huaisang kept bothering me," he said with an eyeroll, "Saying that appearances and impressions matter. He literally smacked me with his fans until I agreed to go to a hairstylist by the name of Sweet Hair Lotus!”
Or: Lan Xichen goes to the new hairstylist in town. He comes out a changed man.
