He can hear something desperate and pleading in his own voice.

“Are you stalking me?” Plip. Plop. Sasuke keeps walking.
Straightening, Naruto clears his throat. Plip. Plop. “No, but I feel bad. Let me buy you a drink? It doesn’t even have to be a date, if you want.”
Turning around to finally face him, Sasuke purses his lips like he’s just been force-fed a whole lemon. He at least seems to be considering it after a few moments, with the way he halts and both of his eyebrows hike upwards in thought. “...Depends on how desperate you are.”

Subconsciously, Naruto reaches his hand up to scratch one of his pecs, accidentally hitting his nipple ring. Sasuke licks his lips and begins to speak, eyes not averting.
