Remus looks up, suddenly aware that for the first time in years, it's just the two of them.
“You don’t like sleeping next to the door.” It comes out before he can think of something different. A fact he’d learned when they were twelve, the first summer they all stayed with the Potters’.
He should be embarrassed, remembering something like that, but Sirius tilts his head. Bright-eyed and soft. He smiles, and it’s worth it.

Remus is a scholarship student in the prestigious Hogwarts. He's decided on not messing up this opportunity and keep everyone at a five feet distance. Sadly, for him, that is, the new substitute teacher isn't having any of this, so he is forced to go to his least desired extracurricular: drama class.

Enchanted armours, cursed door knobs, breaking-the-ice games and The Final Surprise: will Remus come out triumphant or will the inevitable outcome of his best friend falling in love with someone else lead to eternal agony?
