He's tipsy. Maybe a little more than that.
That's the only excuse he has, really, when he fits his fingers under the edge of his helmet.
(Or; vulnerability, of a sort.)

There seems to be a seam on Tango's hand, a thin line jutting out of the skin, too even to be a scar, too unyielding to even feel like a part of a living being.
Jimmy looks at Tango in perplexion, and the other man nods, pulling his hand back.(Or: Tango picks up some traits from Jimmy via soulbond, and Jimmy isn't as pleased about the whole ordeal.)

“I’d just like to finish something first.” BigB says. “Before I die, at least.”
A scrutinous frown forms on Scott’s face. BigB plays this card with practiced ease. Don’t kill me now. You can kill me if you come back later. What could I possibly do if you let me live for a few more minutes? I was actually planning to die at 4:30, not 4:00; would it ruin your schedule to postpone my death? Please? Thank you.
“Yeah, I’ll leave you,” Scott replies, whistling to his wolves to follow him back up the stairs. “I’ll come back.” He would return to his allies baffled by his own failure. It was BigB. I just couldn’t kill him.

TL;DR - BigB faces his final moments at the end of Secret Life. My contribution to the 5th Edition of TrafficZine! -

Summary
"You all right, dude?" Skizz asked, after a beat of quiet in which Impulse did not immediately volunteer what was bothering him.
"Yeah, I'm cool," Impulse said automatically, and then added quickly, because he was feeling way too exposed up here, and highly aware of his precarious position up on the wall, and how easy it would be to be overheard by someone wandering by below them, "You wanna take a walk with me?"
It was almost dark, and their neighbors in every direction were enemies of the Red Banners; it was an inane request. But Skizz just said, "Sure," and held out a hand for Impulse to help him up.
-
Impulse just wants to stay alive. The time has come to leave Dogwarts for the Crastle, and the biggest obstacle standing in his way is his best friend, who would see through any lie he tells. It's a risk to ask for his help, but it's one he has to take.
Skizz is as loyal as they come; he would never dream of turning against his king or brothers in arms. But when Impulse asks him to be an accomplice to his betrayal, Skizz is forced to choose between loyalty to his friend and loyalty to his king... and the choice just might break him.
