"What—?” Avery blinks. He knows D3rlord has a few screws loose, but this is a new low, even for him. Or high? Avery can't tell how he feels about the closeness and barely awake flattery just yet. Clearly, D3rlord’s already scrambled brain only becomes more fried when sleep is added to the equation.
Warm, huh? Um. It’s something he tries to maintain, he guesses! So he doesn’t just freeze or melt. It’s really not that hard or anything like that. It mostly comes naturally. He’s never really gotten many comments on it, but he’s also never been suddenly brought into a mindless embrace like the other party might die if they don’t hug right now.

It keeps happening.
Katsuki will go about his daily life as usual and out of nowhere his breath catches in his chest or his heart stumbles and on one very memorable occasion—movie night with the squad, with Hitoshi inexplicably cuddled up to him—his stomach made somersault after somersault, making Katsuki squeezy enough to not even eat his own food.
It happens during lessons, it happens during training, it happens during sparring, while he cooks, in the common room, when he's out with the squad.
It happens often enough that Katsuki very much fears for his own health but he's not quite desperate enough to go see his cardiologist.
He figures Recovery Girl will have to do for now—surely she'll be able to determine if it's something more serious or something stupid like—an allergy.
Because it could be.
