Summary
It had never been this quiet. Now, with only one body occupying the space, it felt empty. The absence of others pressed in from all sides, the loneliness heavy and stifling. Phainon set the laundry basket down slowly, and let himself sit on the edge of the bed. The mattress dipped beneath his weight, unfamiliarly soft.
He felt empty in a way he hadn’t been able to process until then. It wasn’t until that moment that he’d let it all hit him in full. He wasn’t just lonely, but severed—cut away from the routine he’d grown into without realizing how deeply he relied on it.
But he knew this was only the beginning. The tour loomed ahead of them, a stretch of unfamiliar cities and similarly empty bedrooms waiting to swallow him whole. Months worth of nights spent curled into the sheets by himself, without Mydei next to him.Or: Breaking up with the love of your life is hard. It's made infinitely harder when instead of moving on, you're obligated by contract to go on tour with him, and find yourself in his bed. Especially when you haven't had a proper conversation in six months.

Summary
“But I must say—I thought the Chimeras were known for their niceties.”
The smirk that followed was loud, coy lips unfurling to reveal sharp teeth as he crossed his thick arms across his chest.
Phainon’s eyes followed the motion for a moment before he rolled them in a falsely dismissive motion. The man was surprisingly cocky for how serious he outwardly presented himself, and it made Phainon want to sneer. It was exactly the kind of opponent he wanted to crush.
“Our niceties don’t apply to the enemy.”
University of Okhema's Exy team hasn't made it to finals since their crushing defeat during Phainon's freshman year. As Captain, it's up to him to beat their rivals—Castrum Kremnos University—and bring his team to victory by taking the cup home once and for all. What he didn't anticipate was that the Kremnoan captain was as infuriatingly smug as he was pretty, and a pain in the ass to deal with both on and off the court.

Summary
“Phainon, something happened. My—”
“Well, hello, gorgeous! Come sit down and I’ll show you what a real monster can do—”
“My dad died.” Silence enveloped the room. What. What.
As if that world-shattering statement wasn't enough, Mydei took his phone from his pocket and pulled up an article, reading out loud: “Eurypon, the owner of Castrum Kremnos Industries, found dead in his own house."
Oh, fuck his life.
Or: Phainon’s evening plans to seduce his boyfriend are crushed when Mydei announces the death of his father. Yet, instead of mourning, Mydei wants to… celebrate?
And are those… nipple piercings pushing against the thin fabric of Mydei’s black tank top?

Summary
He wasn’t exactly a stranger to being recognized in public, but it also wasn’t like it happened every day either. His name was big enough to sell out venues, but nowhere near enough when it came to stadiums and arenas.
“Okay then,” the man said, lifting a brow. “Will you at least tell me your name?”
If the guy recognized him, Mydei wouldn’t deny it. But at the same time, it was slightly amusing to see how long it would take otherwise. “Call me Dei.”
”That’s definitely not your name,” the man replied easily, lips curling at the edges. “But fine. You can call me Kevin.”
Mydei’s eyes narrowed. “That’s a stupid name.”
Or: Upcoming Rockstar Mydei has a one night stand with what is possibly the hottest, yet the most infuriating man he's ever met. Coping by reminding himself that he's never going to see him again can only go so far.

Summary
“What’s your name?” The hold on his neckline slid to his shoulder, just as firm.
My name is Khaslana.
“My name is Phainon.” He did not know what that name meant, only that it felt right, forced out of his lips and breathed into the other man's oxygen.
The man stared at him for a moment. He was young, but his amber eyes held age, hardened like stone. He was beautiful, and before another word could breach his mouth, Phainon muttered: “Mydeimos.”
“Your name is Mydeimos.”

Summary
“I’m fine,” Phainon said, but it felt like he was lying. Why did it feel like he was lying? “I’m so fine.”
Mydei took another long sip, the faintest glimmer of teeth showing as he grinned around the lip of the bottle.
“You sound very normal about this,” he said, dryly. “Unless—wait. Are you a homophobe, Phainon?”
Phainon practically choked on air. “What? No! Absolutely not! I just—you—I didn’t expect…”
“Didn’t expect me to like men?”
Or: Phainon realizes he's gay, and then realizes he's been in love with Mydei all along.

Summary
”I thought—“ Mydeimos faltered. “I thought the songs were about somebody else. I though—“
“What, Hephaestion?” Phainon snapped. “You think I wrote a whole album about watching the guy you’re dating?”
Mydeimos blinked. What.
“What are you talking about? I’m not—I’m not dating Hephaestion.”
Phainon’s mouth dropped open. He blinked, anger dissipating into incredulous disbelief. “You’re not?”
”No,” Mydeimos said, too loudly, too quickly. “Where did you even get that idea?”
Or: Two solo albums and a world tour later, Mydeimos finds himself forced to sing love songs written by the love of his life, about somebody else.

Summary
And Mydeimos was possessive. Phainon was his.
His rival. His equal. His friend. His, his, his, his, his. He threw that word around so generously, as if he truly did not understand its weight. And perhaps, he did not. Perhaps nobody but Phainon ever would, for Phainon was the one cursed to lose everything he cherished, whereas Mydeimos was simply punished for his very existence. And yet, despite his best premonition, he could not stop the word from itching at the tip of his tongue, or lingering on the forefront of his mind, begging to slip past his lips whenever he took a look at that conspicuously gorgeous body, or those powerful and driven eyes.
An incessant mantra of mine, mine, mine, mine, mine.
