Summary
Part 3 of my exploration of how Gilmore Girls would be different if Lorelai had a younger sister. This story will roughly follow the timeline of season 2.

Summary
Stars Hollow is no stranger to broken things finding a home.
And neither is Lorelai. She has been there before.
Just when she thought her life was all set, Rory in her first week at Yale, Lorelai and Sookie finally fulfilling their dream of opening their own Inn. Everything was in place. Or at least, getting there.
Until one day on a highway back to Stars Hollow, when Lorelai was coming back from a Friday Night Dinner with her parents in Hartford, Lorelai almost ran over something.
A log? An animal? Maybe a really bad Oompa-Loompa cosplay? No.
A child.
Suddenly, her life was upside down. And maybe, just maybe, it was exactly where it needed to be.

Summary
Life’s hard when you're four and your mommy says you're gonna go on a nice trip to your uncle’s house but then disappears and leaves you there.
Luke has just settled after his father's passing when his good-for-nothing sister decides to abandon her kid with him. Luke doesn't know anything about kids, so he turns to the only person he knows with a kid of similar age. And maybe he wants something more than just parenting advice from her.
