Summary
Joplin, Missouri is beset by a string of robberies. The suspects? Dead ringers for Bonnie and Clyde.
Dean and Cas investigate. And get a little closer to the case than they bargained for.
--
Three bodies, four people in the bunker, and Dean has to keep all of them safe or he’ll lose it; maybe he’s already starting to lose it. Who knows. Because one of those people is Cas, and Dean has to keep a tight leash on the small flame of hope that refuses to go out in his chest.

Summary
and he who seeks, finds
Castiel patted at his chest before realizing what an idiot he was being, and he dove for his gun, training it on the man, hands trembling only slightly. “Who are you? What are you?” he demanded, eyes narrowing, as he took in the creature before him.
“Name’s Dean. Nice to meet’cha. ‘M an angel,” he said, voice reedy. He gave Castiel a weak but cocky grin. “You got any Led Zeppelin tapes?”
And then he passed out.
--
When investigating a witch coven leads to a bit more than Castiel bargained for, he and the strange, handsome angel who tumbles out of Hell agree to work together to stop the Apocalypse.

Summary
Dean frowns. “I don’t know anyone by that name,” he says. What the hell is this woman talking about? Someone he doesn’t know died and left him a house or something? Castiel gives him a puzzled look from across the table, and Dean shrugs, confused, mouthing I think they’re a lawyer at him. Cas’ eyebrows fly to the top of his forehead.
“I believe he went by Sonny for much of his life,” the lawyer says, and Dean feels the bottom drop out of his stomach.
--
After Cas comes back from the Empty, Dean inherits Sonny's home for boys. Somehow the hunt that follows makes things both more and less complicated.

Summary
Four hours later, he watches with a smile as Sam gathers Eileen up in a fierce hug, his gargantuan frame engulfing her, relief running through every line and muscle of his body. Eileen accepts the embrace with grace and no small amount of puzzlement, gentling Sam’s frantic kiss with a soft hand against his jaw.
“Sam?” she asks, pulling away slightly to look into his eyes, and even from the other side of the Impala, Dean can see the joy running like a live current through his little brother’s mind.
“I’m just… really glad to see you,” Sam says quietly, bringing his shaking hands up to sign. She smiles up at him in response.
Something fierce aches in the hollow behind Dean’s ribs.

Summary
Most people probably wouldn’t take the naked, heavily wounded man they found in an alley home with them. Most people probably wouldn’t also offer that man a place to stay and become his best friend after realizing he’s suffering from an intense case of post-traumatic retrograde amnesia. Most people probably wouldn’t then risk almost everything they know to save said man, and maybe save the world in the process.
But then again, Dean Winchester, RN (with a specialty in supernatural care), has never been like most people. He may not have a magical bone in his body, unlike his brother Sam, but he’ll do whatever it takes to help. Even if Castiel has questionable opinions about Star Trek.

Summary
Dean stares at Castiel, hard. “What do you mean, in case something goes wrong?” he asks, and Cas shakes his head.
A coda to 15.15. Three possible conversations that might happen.

Summary
A large part of Dean wants to spend the rest of the evening sulking in his room over his apparently god-given make-out ability being taken away, but Cas won’t let him. “Just because you can’t remember how to do it doesn’t mean you can’t learn again,” he says, and Dean has to admit that’s a strong argument, especially when paired with Cas’ earnest look.
Or: Four times Dean's loss of hero status bites him in the ass (not in the good way), and one time he and Cas manage to muddle through. A coda to 15.10.

Summary
They need to leave, Dean knows this, but something has cracked inside him and needs to be let out. Maybe it’s Purgatory, maybe it’s just him, but it makes him say, “Cas, I need to say something,” and he’s ready, he wants to say it, even if he doesn’t know what the shape of the words are going to be on his tongue.

Summary
Cas is actually in the bunker when Dean rushes in, eyes wild, bag over his shoulder. He looks at Dean and for a split second, all Dean can think about is a deer caught in headlights, clear shock running across Cas’ face before he gets ahold of it, schools it back into something… neutral. Wrong.
“Hey--” he starts, but Cas cuts him off.
“Dean.”
A coda for 15.07

“I died for you, Dean,” he had said, and it wasn’t an accusation, but Dean felt it stab through him anyway, inexorable.

Summary
When Jack had suggested this trip, Gabriel’s first instinct was to say no, absolutely not. He didn’t want to go to Indiana and stare at nothing all day for a week. He didn’t want to see the horizon across miles of flat-ass land covered in nothing but corn. He didn’t want to be woken up at the crack of dawn because some fancy chickens couldn’t shut the fuck up.
(He refused to think about the real reason he didn’t want to go: that it would be him and Jack, alone, for a week. For the first time since… since before Zurich.)
Jack and Gabriel take a long-overdue vacation to Jack's family home, looking for answers they don't think they'll find.

Summary
Gabriel looked at him expectantly. His mouth was hanging open, shit. Oh god, Gabriel was going to figure out that Jack had a completely inappropriate crush on him, that he thought about his thighs several times a day, that he daydreamed about kissing--
Thankfully, Sombra popped up from behind the bar. “Gabe, we’re out of limes,” she said, saving Jack’s moronic ass from certain humiliation. “Our supplier forgot them this morning. Again.”
Jack writes poetry. Gabriel owns a bar. This is how they come together.

Summary
Maybe all he needed was a shower and a decent night’s sleep, wrapped up in Jack’s arms for the first time in two weeks. Maybe that would make this goddamn headache go away for the first time in four days, would calm the heated, writhing feeling that seemed to sink down into his bones. Maybe he just needed Jack.
Gabriel breaks down.

This had to be at least a two-alarm call, Jack knew. Maybe a three-alarm call. And if it was that many alarms, then it was more than likely that--
A figure emerged from the building.
Jack is an EMT. Gabriel is a firefighter.

Jack winced. Well, he could always trust Gabriel to tell it like it is, that was clear.
“Who--” he coughed, choking down the lump in his throat that threatened to cut off all his air, “who made it?”

Summary
The soldier was quiet for a moment. “Who were you, in Overwatch?” he finally asked. “Who were you that the fall took everything from you and you’ve joined the enemy to bring them down from the inside? Overwatch must have been important to you.”
Reaper looked away. “Doesn’t matter. The person I was is dead. I’m just Reaper now.” He paused. “What about you?” he asked, looking at the soldier again. “What’s your name?”
The soldier shrugged uncomfortably. “Doesn’t matter,” he echoed Reaper’s words back to him. “Like I said, I’m just a soldier.”
“So we’re a couple of cagey bastards, got it,” Reaper huffed.
The soldier who can't remember who he is and the double agent mercenary Reaper team up to take down Talon, each seeking revenge for something they lost. But as the soldier looks for answers, he learns about the sins of Overwatch and its Strike Commander, Jack Morrison, a man whose apparent greed, corruption, and incompetence led to Talon exacting its chokehold on the world. Even as the soldier begins questioning the point of their quest, he and Reaper find themselves inexplicably drawn to one another.

Summary
Jack is a ghost hunter hired to get rid of whatever is mildly inconveniencing a suburban family. To his surprise, he finds out the culprit is Gabriel, more of a demonic spirit than a ghost, and one who is much more interested in Jack's ass than in continuing to haunt some boring family.
Jack brought a hand up and pinched the bridge of his nose. He could already feel a tension headache building just behind his eyes. “It’s a job,” he reminded himself. “You need this. You would like to continue eating. Just figure out what’s going on, get rid of it, and get out.” He slipped his cellphone into his back pocket with a sigh.
“Gonna treat yourself to a nice steak dinner tonight if you’re successful?” asked a voice, and Jack looked up, startled. A man with a well-groomed mustache and beard was leaning against one of the gleaming kitchen countertops, the corner of his lips upturned in a smirk on his handsome face. “You look like you’re a man who appreciates some good meat.”
