Scaramouche adjusts the heavy strap on his shoulder before turning and taking a few steps away from the table. Before he gets too far, he stops and looks back at them. His eyes flick to Tartaglia, who has those obnoxiously sapphire eyes trained on him. The brightness of that blue always catches him off guard and it sends a quick shiver down his spine. One he pretends not to notice.
Not like there’s anything to notice in the first place.
