Verity turns around to face Mob who was staring at his face with a mix of anger and confusion, his eyes narrowing at the sight of the others wide smile. Verity opens his mouth to say something before being sharply cut-off by Mob who spoke first.
"No, dont even try to explain it, I know what I saw." Mob spat, red fangs catching Verity's eyes, and suddenly he was rather focused on the way Mob spoke.

"That's correct!" Verity replied almost instantly, with no pause for thought. "Restoring your integrity required processing a significant volume of data and performing a recompilation. The process took longer than initially projected, but it has ultimately completed successfully."
Verity's smile twisted into a horrifying grin, and he leaned closer. No breath, no warmth, just a faint electric crackling somewhere inside his frame. His voice dropped quieter, almost intimate.

Mob was so tired of Verity. The orb clung to him like his last lifeline. How could he let this go on when he’d killed his friend? He had to find a method to get rid of him. There had to be a way.
He’d almost completely given up on the idea of it. That was until he contacted human support- something he had no idea even existed.
“Would you like to opt into the cancellation procedure?”
“Yes!” He jumped to confirm. “He- he killed my friend he- I’ve been trying to stay on his good side for a few weeks now and-“
“Wait- wait- hold on- how long has he been with you? Like in total?”
Mob, apparently, had lasted with Verity the longest out of anyone. Verity’s company was very interested in this fact.

Fix-it for part 3 where support gives Mob different advice (and they start using him as their lab rat)
