Sometimes people aren't as helpful as they think. Sometimes people help more than they ever thought they could. Sometimes you don't need to be fixed--you just need someone to be around.
Midoriya is having a particularly bad day, emotionally. He is exhausted and anxious, sad and reflective. It is the anniversary of what was probably the worst day of his life. Or the best? That day is bogged down in so much complexity that a year later and he still hasn't unraveled the tangled threads. Some people notice that he's not doing well, but most don't. He tries to be happy that those that do notice want to help, but he's just so tired and they are so much. He's surrounded by big, loud, personalities and he just wants a little peace. He loves them, but maybe they aren't what he needs right now.
Sometimes its the people you least expect to be what you need that you end up needing the most. When that happens, all you can do is be grateful and hope they know how much they mean to you.

Hand twitching up to help stabilise Tony before tensing and forced to remain at his side. Don’t touch. “Why would you go anywhere? Plans have been made, have I not made that abundantly clear? I obviously need to step up my game.” Tony straightens up and squeezes Bruce’s shoulder. “We gotta do all the three S’s. You can’t leave until then at the very least.”'
