“Let’s get one thing straight,” Suguru says, his voice low and threatening, dark eyes glittering in the waning sunlight streaming through the windows. “I’m not doing this as a favor to you. I am doing this because you’re right about one thing and one thing only-- Megumi deserves better than a life with Limitless.”
Suguru leans in close enough that Satoru can count his individual lashes. Satoru’s heart thunders in his chest, his limbs cold and useless where he sits.
“And when all is said and done, I want you gone from my life. Permanently. I have worked too god damned hard to give my daughters some sense of normalcy, and if you fuck that up-- you will wish you’d stayed an agent. Are we clear, Satoru?”
Satoru’s nod is the barest flicker of movement. Suguru releases him and steps back.
“Good. Glad we understand each other.”
Or: the one where a young Megumi is thrust upon Satoru and they go on a good old-fashioned American cross-country road trip about it.

Summary
The girl behind the counter didn’t spare him more than a single glance before looking back down at the register. Undeterred, he went up to the counter and leaned against it. She frowned at his elbows on the countertop, but made no move to chastise him.
Satoru rested his chin on his hand, looking at her over the tops of his sunglasses. “You know, I’m looking for nirvana.” He waited for a second, tongue between his teeth, before delivering the final blow with a smile. “Think you could help me find it?”

Gojo silently clicks to the next side. “im a poor pitiful child of 20 having my dreams thwarted…pity me…” read this slide’s text box. There’s an accompanying badly drawn, pixelated image of some poor child wailing with a blown-up broken heart emoji over the kid’s head.
“Geto Suguru,” Gojo thunders, “I am unfortunately only left with you for my choice of companion. Like it or not, if I want to travel and complete my thesis, you need to come with me. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make this arrangement work.”
Geto really, really does not want to have any sort of relation to Gojo Satoru at all. He ends up globetrotting with him anyways as his unwilling dining companion and very enthusiastic horrible food partner.
