Summary
Pirouette- a term used to refer to what many call the most difficult move in ballet. It requires incredible strength, control, and skill, as well as the ability to focus unwavering attention in one direction as the world turns around you.
Kurapika has but one goal, to become a prominent dancer on the Neo Broadway stage, but a drunken one-night stand with a handsome doctor threatens to shift his focus and spin his life out of control.
This is a very self-indulgent fic featuring my comfort ship. Updates will be sporadic.

Summary
Rouen, France, 1895
Leorio, a young Italian immigrant, came to France to find a job. But, as he arrived at Rouen’s train station, he was immediately accused, by the lady he had shared his wagon with, of having stolen her necklace. He escaped just in time, aware he wasn’t the culprit, and ran away. In his escape, he found refuge at L’Oeillet vert, a cabaret, whose owner accepted to hide him in return for becoming a waiter for the night. However, it was without taking into account the real reason behind this sudden offer, the previous waiter had been assassinated.
Kurapika Kurta, the owner, was certainly the most charming creature Leorio had ever seen, but it was obvious the murder was linked to his past. For now, if Leorio wanted to make it out alive, he would have to help Kurapika solve this mystery.

Summary
“I’m saying yes, by the way. Did I neglect to say that?”
Leorio’s eyebrows shuffle together. “Yes?” he asks, like he’s surprised that they’d accept his proposal. Idiot. What did he think they’d say? Thank you, but no thank you? What a moron. They kiss his hand again, and his fingers twitch against their lips. “And...what are you saying yes to, exactly...? I mean, I know, I just want to hear you say it.”
(Or, a simple gift takes on a new meaning when Leorio accidentally performs a Kurta engagement ritual.)
