Summary
The boy puts down his dog (Eumppappa, right?) and she immediately pads up to Hanbin to lick at his ankles, which are exposed beneath his trousers. Then he bows back, and gingerly takes Hanbin’s hand to shake it, though he does so a bit wildly. “Ooh, a western greeting? Did you live abroad?” He releases Hanbin’s hand and smiles. As he does, his cheeks scrunch up adorably. “I’m Kim Gyuvin. Looking for a house—we spoke on the phone. And did you say witch? Like, tarot readings and such?”
or: Kitchen witch Hanbin sets up an advertisement to fill the empty room in his house full of magical inhabitants—spelled in such a way that ordinary eyes will not find it. Kim Gyuvin, definitely a human, reacts to the ad.

Summary
“I don’t give a damn about your destiny.” Hao snarls. Matthew’s breath catches in his throat. It is blasphemy that leaves Hao’s lips, and yet, he says it as if it’s the simplest truth. “I’ll slay the fates myself if I have to. I’m not losing you.”
“Hao,” Hanbin breathes, his voice thick with emotion. He sounds like he believes it. He sounds like he wants it more than anything. Still, he protests, albeit weak, “It’s not so simple.”
“Yes, it is.” Hao retorts. “I won’t let you die.”
It’s not so simple, Matthew wants to repeat—not an echo of Hanbin’s words, but an assertion of his own understanding. He is the prophet, after all. He is the one who deals with destiny. But Matthew is a coward, and he always has been, so all he can do is close his eyes and curse himself for it.
Or; Hanbin is the hero prophesied to save the world at the cost of his life. Hao is hell-bent on saving both. Matthew is an oracle who knows damn well that if there is a price, it must be paid.
