Summary
The role of “hostage” is a pretty boring one, EMF has found. Then one day Seawatt descends the ladder and says, “It’s your lucky day, Master. Today you get a change of scenery.”
EMF wouldn’t appreciate another alpha being in his face under normal circumstances, much less these. But he’s not in a position to do anything except put up with it. Seawatt mostly smells like the ocean, but there’s another smell entwined with it now, fresh greenery and omega sweetness, that has EMF’s hackles rising.
That’s Evbo’s scent. And it is all over Seawatt.

If Evbo had arrived earlier, if he didn’t take so stupidly long getting each disc—the man has no sense of urgency, Seawatt swears, he has to be out there “exploring” or something equally pointless, as if there’s anything left in this miserable, barren place—
The point is that Evbo returns from getting the disc of the Legend of Glass Parkour when Seawatt is in the middle of his rut and it is completely Evbo’s own fault.

Evbo hopped onto one of the stools, his legs dangling just above the ground. “Taking me out for drinks now, are you?”
“And what’s so wrong with that?” Seawatt shot back, slipping onto his own stool. “It’s your big victory feast. You ought to be celebrating with fountains of champagne.”
“By that logic, since this is the anniversary of your crushing defeat, you should be drowning your sorrows in cheap booze.”
“There we find ourselves a shared goal: getting drunk. Who knew we had so much in common?”
A feast is held on the anniversary of the Parkour Villain’s defeat. Evbo has never really drunk before, and Seawatt helps him change that. Shenanigans ensue.
