Happiness comes in various forms. It might depend on the day you're having and happiness means finally getting home and burying yourself in your blankets. It might depend on where you are or the climate, and it's so warm and sunny happiness comes in the form of eating ice cream along the beachside. It might depend on a lot of things, and it's different every time, it's different for everyone.
For Taehyung and Jeongguk, happiness does not come in the form of a person, or most specifically, of each other. It comes from how, whenever they are united, they are able to reminisce everything they lived together and imagine far ahead in the future. For them, happiness comes in the form of years and years of carefully sculpted love and how, even though they might have suffered along the way, they wouldn't change a thing.
