The camera is one of Jonathan’s old ones.
It had sat in the closet for years, but Hopper had rescued it, dusted it off and gotten new film for it, and there it sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for Joyce’s approval. She knew it would never be used if she said no, but there was something thrilling about it- the idea of Hopper taking pictures of her that only they would see.
