"Well, I guess I can keep you company or whatever. At least you bought us beer." Dylan's eyes were softer now. There was a faint shade of blush on his cheekbones, most likely from the alcohol and slight heat of the air. His voice was low and hung heavily over Jun's heart, the ghost of a genuine smile on his pale pink mouth.
"Wow, so I'm nothing more than a way to get drunk to you. How insulting." Jun forced himself to rip his eyes away for a moment. That moment — admittedly — did not last long and when he turned back, he found Dylan nibbling on his bottom lip. His eyes were crinkled, like he was fighting back a giggle. The soft slope of his shoulders indicated a lack of tension, and that made Jun feel hot and tingly from the inside out.
"Yeah you are, bitch. Pass me another can, will you?" Dylan's gaze, half-lidded and glittering, made the butterflies in his stomach jump around like crazy.
