    Wei Ying moved in to Lan Wangji’s tent. And Lan Wangji took immense pleasure in this, not that most could see it on his face. They were largely exhausted from ultimately playing two roles each in the war but could find solace in one another in the scarce hours between the dead of night and morning light.

    And make time they did.

    Lan Wangji had never cared less about the years of drilled propriety during his lover's pleas and sweet talking. Yet each instance he took care to refine the qi produced between them.
