Evelyn Amell has a troubled past. She was there when the Ferelden Circle, Kinloch Hold, succumbed to Uldred and his blood mages, though thankfully saved by the Hero of Ferelden. After the Mage Rebellions, she found herself heading West to Haven, to the Inquisition, hopefully to help close the Breach and find one of the few remaining members of her family left. Hawke. Varric Tethras is well known as the best friend of the Champion, and potentially knows the woman's location. She had not realised that joining the Inquisition meant facing a certain part of her past she had long thought buried.
