Wei Wuxian wandered along humming to himself happily, scuffing his army boots on the pavement and swigging from a can of beer. A deep voice interrupted his thoughts, “Pour it out.”
Wei Wuxian stumbled in his surprise and nearly fell over. Thankfully, he didn’t spill any beer. When he looked up, there was a masked man standing in front of him. As the streetlight above him blinked on, his eyes vanished into shadow. Even though the face was mostly hidden, Wei Wuxian could make out the strong line of his jaw and the long hair tucked into his cap. The memory of those long-lashed, amber eyes was burned into his mind, possibly for life.
“Wow, I bet you’re really handsome,” the alcohol said.
“Pour it out,” the handsome man repeated.
