He couldn’t fight this moment of weakness; the sweet relief after so many years of begging to just catch a glimpse of this man. Hua Cheng lifted his head slowly, wiping the remnants of tears from his face with the back of his hand. The agony did not vanish, but it sharpened into purpose. He was finally strong enough to protect him.
