Summary
“HENRY!!!” Piper shrieked, her head turned to the door but the person was gone. All she saw was her mom pushing the door open and her dad calling the police.
Everything was in slow motion, Henry's gurgling was sickening. The sound of their mother’s cries filled the room, and the sound of the 911 operator added another layer of terror. Their mother fell to her knees beside Henry, sobbing uncontrollably. She applied pressure to the wound, her hands barely cupped into fists because they were shaking so badly.

Summary
A canon rewrite from season 8 going forward.
Lloyd Garmadon would have never expected things to take such a dangerous turn, but when the mysterious gang known as the Sons of Garmadon steal the Oni Mask of Vengeance from Cyrus Borg, The Ninja are tasked to protect the Royal family, and stop the group before they become an even bigger threat to the citizens of ninjago.
(A rewrite that adds more angst, more danger, and more Kai and Cole focus (I swear they were done so dirty.))

As if in a trance, CatNap raises himself to his knees, spreading his arms open in worship before his deity. The Prototype is gathering his fingers into a sharp point, preparing to strike. CatNap doesn’t move. Something almost peaceful surrounds the toy cat, and it’s then that John understands what he’s witnessing: acceptance
He moves before he can think.
Or: Before CatNap can sacrifice himself to The Prototype, The Player interferes by shoving him out of the way. This opens up a whole new can of worms.
