    Whenever Sunghoon carries Jongseong back up from the Styx, the river has already sewn his broken body back together, barring a few scratches or bruises that would easily heal themselves within minutes. Sunoo, despite being the one who wasn’t killed, gets no such luck.

    He gains nothing from winning—just some broken bones that take longer than they should to mend.

    Jongseong wants to leave hell, even if it means dying one thousand times to do so. Sunoo and Sunghoon help him out where they can.

    “Consequences,” Sunghoon murmurs, voice hushed and serious.

    Great, Jay thinks. Just what he needed.
