“Your cheeks”, Tine nearly squeaked, and the fast pace Sarawat’s heart picked calmed down. “I was trying to, um, kiss your cheeks.” His voice was so low when he said ‘kiss’ Sarawat almost laughed.
As he grinned past the butterflies in his stomach, Sarawat’s let his eyes finally roam over Tine’s features, admiring the way the rain illuminated him. Water matted his hair down, dripping into his eyes, making him blink more, making his eyes shine brighter. The little silvery light provided by the full moon, filtering through the thick forest canopy, bounced off the tiny droplets on Tine’s cheeks, sanctifying him in a pale, ethereal glow. And his lips. His lips took on a shade of deep pink, glossy from the dripping water, and as Sarawat licked the sweet rainwater off of his, he knew Tine’s mouth would taste the same.
