    brilliant. so brilliant. this work enriches the characters and illustrates the relationships and the developing friendships between the characters so neatly. everything is handled very well- it's subtle and striking, and the plot is well-paced. engaging story, with long enough chapters to binge-read and still have more left. love this one.
