With exams looming on the horizon, the Coven invites the seventh years to a glamorous gala disguised as a learning opportunity. Predictably, the evening proves to be unbearable. Baz, unraveling at the seams, struggles to project his usual confidence amid exhaustion and frustration. As if his internal battles weren’t difficult enough:
I abruptly stop in my tracks. He responds in kind, snickering to himself.
Narrowing my eyes, I reevaluate his appearance.
